Matthew Ludwig Matthew Ludwig is an associate in the Washington office. Mr. Ludwig concentrates his practice in complex civil litigation and administrative and regulatory issues, and he has worked on matters involving antitrust, the Price Anderson Act, and the First Amendment. He has also worked on a number of appeals, as well as a variety of matters before the Surface Transportation Board. Mr. Ludwig received his B.A. in History from Rice University in 2002 and was a member of the school’s lacrosse team. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2007, where he was a Harno Scholar and a member of the Elder Law Journal. His student note on unethical debt collection practices targeted at the elderly was selected for publication in the Journal’s Spring 2008 edition. While at Illinois, Mr. Ludwig served as a volunteer clerk to the Honorable Jeffrey B. Ford, Champaign County Circuit Judge, and as an intern for the Parliamentarian of the Illinois Senate.
