Robert L. Murken Robert Murken is an associate in the Philadelphia office. Mr. Murken concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation, and has worked on matters including employment law, RICO, antitrust, and corporate officer indemnification. He received his A.B. in English, cum laude, from Duke University in 1996, and his A.A. in Liberal Arts and Humanities in the Mentor/Talented Student Program of Rockland Community College in 1994. Mr. Murken received his J.D., magna cum laude from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2005, where he was a Beasley Scholar and Lead Articles Editor of Temple Law Review. At Temple, Mr. Murken was the recipient of numerous awards, including the Ethan Allen Doty Scholarship and Captain Robert Miller Knox Award for contributions to his class and the law school community, the Samuel E. Klein Scholarship for achievement in constitutional law, and the Albert H. Friedman Prize for his co-authored paper on federal legislation. Mr. Murken co-chaired the Student Public Interest Network, where he headed up fundraising activities - including Temple's public interest auction - and solicited institutional support for summer public interest internships. Mr. Murken served as law clerk to the Honorable Franklin S. Van Antwerpen, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, from 2005 to 2006. Before law school, he served as an area director for the Jesuit Volunteer Corps and worked at the Pennsylvania Health Law Project. Mr. Murken is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey, and is a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and American Bar Associations.
